Clothing Vouchers provide neighbors with clothing and household items from our thrift store, The Clothes Closet. Through this program, the Parish House meets a basic need for our neighbors. 

Once a month, neighbors can receive a Clothing Voucher which can be used for one (1) outfit for every member in their household and household items up to $10. 

How to Request Assistance

To confirm that you're a residence of Upshur County, please bring the following to your first visit:

• Name of everyone in the household.​
• Proof of Address such as a utility bill, lease agreement, etc. that has your current Upshur County address.
• Social Security Card for all members of your household. Used to verify identity. Will NOT be copied or entered.
• Proof of Income like a DHHR/SNAP letter or paystub to verify eligibility 

​Other demographic information may be collected in subsequent visits to better understand and support our community by providing targeted food assistance. Information sharing is optional and neighbors may opt-out at any time.
